I've heard that the best stories somehow have an ending that loops into some critical thing at the beginning. This's a normal day for this.. hammer, thing.. and it ends just the same.. but it's no normal day in reality.
The music really helps this out. The song sounds like it's going to end the same way as the beginning started, but the little sound added at the end really ties the huge change together.
Superb job, Sakupen. I'll be dying to see more from you, as well as more music!

LisVender has created an excellent piece of work spoofing every band that Weird Al jabs fun at in his song, and even manages to fit in a Wario Ware (if I'm not mistaken?) reference!

The effort and synchronization required to have done this is completely awesome!

Definintely worth your watch even if you don't get the references.

So I'll get to the gist.

Make a battle gimmick. That makes it interesting.
Chrono Trigger had its Double/Triple Techs,
Absalon (a Flash RPG) has its ingenious playing-card system,
and FF8 has its Draw-magic system.
(Note, I had tons more here earlier, but the thing ate it all.)

Yours has no gimmick. I don't know why Entropy wants to say, "Blablabla, you're nto gonna finish, <b>My rpg</b> will blow everyone away, balblabla" and ruin your try.

I say, everyone give a shot at RPGs. The more creative and simple a battle system, the better.

A. This game is fun. I've never had a sidescrolling RPG like this.
B. Battle system is ingenious. Innovative. Much more fun and stragetic than most RPGs. Fun-er-ific.
C. Great way to kill time. Walk back and forth.
(If only you could move faster, or incite more battles.)
D. Battle music good. (I would have expected the little cymbal solo to go during the planning stages or something. *Shrug* Still battle-er-ific.) Encounters also good: I never expected'm.
E. Should be able to do minisaves, but that's OK.
